The announcement reinforces Monolith’s continued expansion in Europe and its dedication to the global Automotive Industry. Under the leadership of Oliver J. Walter, the team will focus on increasing revenue in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as a region and will respond to the increasing demands of AI applications within the R&D Automotive Industry (OEM).
As General Manager, Mr. Walter will provide strategic and effective key account management services to clients, strengthening the Company’s relationships with leading automotive brands worldwide and enhancing the Company's business growth short-/mid-term.
Mr. Walter brings an extensive sales and operations background to Monolith, spanning 25+ years in the Automotive industry. He joins Monolith from BMW Group where he served over 19 years in various positions from i.e. “Head of Sales Management Germany”, over “Head of Global Product-/ Launch Management BMW i3” to “Senior Program Manager Digitalization R&D”. Previously leading vital initiatives in the BMW Group, Oliver J. Walter has worked in management, consulting and leadership positions in companies like KPMG, Ford Werke AG and Porsche AG.
His responsibility within the C-suit team will be:
- Leading the company's global automotive efforts and managing key accounts in the D/A/CH region.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers, accounts, and potential partners.
- Developing and implementing product- and sales strategies for the automotive industry.
- Managing sales and operations teams in leading clients towards effective leveraging of AI in R&D.
